Josh and I completed our move to Yuba City, CA, and then Josh readied for his first trek to western China. He partnered with a buddy from REI, Josiah, and Josh, Josiah, and Josiah's wife Hillary are trekking in China!
He left on Oct 15, and 21 hours later, he arrived in Hong Kong to stay for one night at my family's dear friends - "uncle" and "aunt" to me - before meeting up with the others and heading to China.
In our first attempt to podcast together, we recorded this interview in which I asked Josh questions about his upcoming trip and what he did to plan for it. You'll hear a shameless plug for REI and getting equipment there. Enjoy!
